Tim Woodie

Hello, I am, Tim Woodie, and I am a senior culinary student at Beacon Charter High School. This is my second year at Beacon and it has been an awesome experience. My grades have been good and they have been bad. Hopefully they will stay good. One thing that has changed alot in the switches between my last high school (Burrillville High School) and here at Beacon, is that the teachers care more about you at Beacon and they want you to actually do something with your education in the future. Two years ago, at Burrillville High, the teachers didn't care if you failed every class they just wanted their checks at the end of the month. I'm in culinary because i enjoy to cook, I haven't yet decided on what i would like to do as a career in the future. Outside of school I do alot. I go to an awesome church called New Life Worship Center located in Smithfield, and
East Greenwich Rhode Island, and in Fall River, Massachusetts . I have been going to this church all my life, the church is like my second home. On Wednesday nights, I go to a youth church called Awakening. The youth group is part of New Life and it is filled with an average of one hundred fifty teenagers weekly.  In my free time, I skateboard and I play bass guitar. I have been skateboarding for about three years and I have been playing bass for about a year and a half. Both of these hobbies help me to relax and get my mind off of things, and I love it so much. That's pretty much it! I'm glad you took your precious time to read this! -Tim Woodie
