Robert Coveney

        One might say that I have been doing this for a long time, that I was born with a talent to creating pictures and have been do it since I was young. Although one might say that they would be lying. I was born with no artistic drawing ability and though it runs in my family I had no interest in the arts.  Over the course of five years my talents have increased by leaps and bounds becoming better than I could have ever imagined. Because I tend to be a perfectionist and I appreciate the more realistic side to art bordering on realism when it comes to art I tend to not be content with any of my work. Instead of settling I tend to push myself further to see if I can do something better and I compete to be more proficient. It is this competitive nature that is the driving force behind my art.

        H.R. Giger has been a big influence in his works of art. Mainly his creation of ALIEN from the 1979 movie has been the biggest influence on my art. I am inspired by surrealistic art and like to challenge myself to achieve as real effect as possible. Science Fiction and my family alone have drawn me to Art.
