For your second Capstone Journal Entry, record the initial thoughts you are having about your film.  If they are specific and clear, great.  Describe your film in as much detail as 250 words will allow.  What will the audience see?  Hear?  Feel?

If you are having trouble imagining anything specific, start with answering these questions with short paragraphs:

  1. What events and/or people from your past helped shape the person you are today?
  2. What about Beacon has helped you define yourself?
  3. What are your plans/goals/dreams/fears for the future?  What does that say about you?

In other words, begin by exploring your past, present and future.  Somewhere in there there is a film.  Do you have images or music that comes to mind?

Explore your thoughts.  You'll need this to develop your loglines next week.

As always, refer to the Capstone Journal Entry Rubric.  Also, please add the following information to your entry:  Record the date and time you begin and end your entry.  For example:

Entry started 9/27/07 10:34 PM

Blah blah blah blah blah... (complete entry)

Entry completed 9/27/07 11:17 PM

This assignment is due Monday, October 1, 2007.
