SOYLENT GREEN REFLECTION

Write a response to the film using the PowerPoint Presentation presentation focusing your thoughts on one of the following topics:

1) Setting - How is New York a character in this science fiction story?

2) Plot - What genres are used here?  To what effect?

3) Environment - What are the environmental factors that have led to a world where Soylent Green is possible?

4) Human Dignity - What is the state of human dignity in the film?  Identify characters that personify this situation.

5) Technology - Is technology embraced or condemned in the film?

Your paper should include at least four references to Soylent Green as well as two references to other films.

Print and submit a copy and post the assignment on your film page.
