                                            Phase One Reflection

For Mrs. Fox’s 10th Biology class, we were assigned to work in groups to collect data and information on a biome and create a power point to later present to the class. My partner and I were required to find the weather/climate, geography, animals and plants that went along with our biome. We chose to do our project on the grasslands of the Savanna in Africa. First we had to do research and collect information that would help us create our power point, by looking on websites on Google. After collecting our research and data we were able to create our power point using Microsoft PowerPoint, which would help us to teach the class about our biome through our presentation. Some of my strengths were putting together the power point to make a cool and exciting presentation for the class to enjoy! One thing I struggled with was collecting information because some sights I looked at were not accurate. If I could have done this project differently, I would have collected for information to make a better built presentation. Throughout this project I was able to target our class standards, which was to demonstrate an understanding of equilibrium in an ecosystem in equilibrium. I enjoyed this project very much and it helped my understanding of different biomes and ecosystems.
