Beacon students are artist within themselves. Beacon is a place

to help better their skills as actors, Artists and Chef’s. A

Beacon student is proud, expressive, creative, part of a family

and community creative and many more things. Beacon is a place

for students to grow as individuals. A beacon student is their

art, they are themselves, they are unique.

A theater student is loud, outgoing and a close knit family. A

theater student puts their heart and soul into everything they do

and work to their fullest. A theater student gets a taste of two

arts in one class, the performing arts and technical arts. A

Theater student is talented "heart" of the school and we help the

school in any way possible.

I am a Beacon Theater student; I am outgoing, friendly, and

easy going. I am a senior and a good friend to all. I am the

president at Beacon and I help all people in any way possible. I

find Beacon to be a second home to me and I love being with the

people of the school. I am proud, Strong willed, and smart. I am

ME.

Theater is a big part in my life, at first I was kind of iffy

because I was afraid to get on stage in front of a lot of people

but after a while it became like second nature. The pictures

above are photos from some of my performances. The first two

pictures are from the Beacon production of Romeo and Juliet,

which is a classic love tail about two young lovers torn by

their family differences. The third and fourth pictures are from

my most recent performance "Don’t drink the water." It’s a story

about three tourists that get stuck in communist territory and

have to find a way out. The fifth and sixth photos are from my

first musical "Once on this island."

It is the typical love story about a boy who falls for a girl

but there’s something standing in the way. The seventh and final

picture is from the BeaconCabaret, where I performed a piece

called "Who’s on first" By Abbot and Costello, which is about a

baseball team owner explaining the game to a player. During the

Cabaret I also did a song from the hit movie "Rent" the song was

called "One song glory." It’s about a young musician who falls

for a women, they get together and she ends catching AIDS from

drug needles, and she gives it to him.
