The Capstone Project at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts

Welcome to the Capstone page for Beacon Charter High School for the Arts.  The Capstone Project, in the form of an autobiographical film, serves as a culminating experience for every Beacon senior.

 

The project was created to help meet the mandates of the Board of Regents of the Rhode Island Department of Education.  As an art school, we feel that creating a film allows our student-artists to leave us with a new skill set in addition to visual, performing or culinary arts.

All students will submit coursework relating to the Capstone project through this website.  There are many steps to the process, none of which may be skipped.  Students must budget their time and strive to meet all deadlines for a truly rewarding Capstone experience!
